These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the tutoring services provided by Muhammad Shahid, trading as BioWithShahid (“we”, “us”, “our”), to students and their parents/guardians (“you”, “the client”). By booking or attending a session, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

We provide one-to-one and small-group Biology tutoring for GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level students, delivered in person in Slough, United Kingdom, or online via video call.

2. Bookings and Payment

Session rates are as advertised on this website or as otherwise agreed in writing. Invoices are payable monthly in advance unless a different arrangement has been agreed. We reserve the right to update our rates from time to time; any change will not affect sessions already booked and paid for.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, may be charged in full. We will do our best to give equivalent notice if we need to reschedule a session on our end, and will offer a make-up session in that case.

4. Conduct

We expect students and parents/guardians to treat tutors, and tutors to treat students, with courtesy and respect. We reserve the right to decline or end a tutoring arrangement where this is not the case.

5. Materials

Any notes, worksheets or resources provided during tutoring are for the personal study use of the student only and may not be redistributed or published without our permission.

6. Liability

While we aim to help every student improve, we cannot guarantee specific grades or exam outcomes, as these depend on many factors beyond our tutoring. Our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the fees paid for the sessions in question.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
